In accordance with the directions of the Government of Ajman supporting the tourism sector through the allocation of human and financial resources necessary to propel this sector at the local, regional and international levels, it was necessary to develop a clear vision supported by strategic goals, objectives and initiatives to be realised within specific timeframes to meet the needs and expectations of the stakeholders of Ajman Tourism Development Department and its local and federal partners. To this end, Ajman Tourism Development Department has taken advantage of its effective internal and external relationships, ensuring it has the capabilities sufficient to supporting its mission and strategic initiatives, and achieving quick gains to reach the defined strategic outcomes. This, in turn, will promote the tourism sector in Ajman and enhance its competitiveness at a national level.
Therefore, this strategic plan lays out a roadmap for ATDD to build, enhance and sustain its strategic performance for all stakeholders and partners. Undoubtedly, ATDD leadership has the confidence, commitment and capacity required for implementing the strategy, motivating employees and partners and mobilizing resources in order to realize its vision, mission and values
