Founded by Emirati visual artist and ceramicist Hessa Al Ajmani, Clay Corner Studio offers a professional space and art facilities for experienced artists and beginners, both adults and children, looking for a supportive place to nurture their talents and learn new skills. The studio is distinguished by its light and earthy aesthetic that stimulates the creative flow and helps members to connect with clay as a natural material that combines all the elements of earth, water, air, and fire.

The first of its kind in the Ajman, the studio is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities for a ceramic and painting practice to be used at the members’ pleasure. It also offers hands-on workshops in ceramic hand-building, painting, drawing, and other multidisciplinary workshops, classes and critique sessions.

Additionally, Clay Corner Studio supports emerging and professional artists through its short-term private studio room-for-hire, where they can work on realizing their ongoing projects in an encouraging environment with the studio’s facilities available at hand.

Quality art materials including paints, canvases, clay, glazes, brushes, and more are available for purchase at the studio’s material shop. To support its members, Clay Corner Studio is also happy to stock the best artwork created by its members at the studio in the shop with profits going back to the members.

Studio visitors and members may also enjoy some homemade refreshments, freshly-brewed coffee, and healthy snacks at our little snack bar.
