Public Transport Corporation is one of the active corporations in the Government of Ajman that was able to deliver many achievements in the development of public transport sector in the Emirate.
Ajman Public Transport Corporation pays special attention to public transport in terms of quality, excellence of service and fulfilling the needs of residents and visitors of the emirate of Ajman. The Corporation also has a modern fleet of buses available to meet the constant demand. The service is divided into internal and external routs, covering all Ajman, with up to 37 buses, ranging from small, medium to large.
Taxis
Since its establishment, the Corporation took into account the modernization of taxi service and turning the old taxi system into a new one, with clear Tariffs that allowed customer to feel more comfortable and secure, and with vehicles providing the highest comfort and outstanding service levels. Buses
Ajman Public Transport Corporation provides a bus service that runs along Al Ittihad Street towards Al Jurf and the Ajman Industrial Area. Fares start at 3 AED.
It also runs an inter-emirate service between Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain, which picks up from Liwara Station at the northern end of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Street and journeys to Sharjah and Dubai.
The Corporation has provided bus stops, whereas air-conditioned and fully equipped stations were set up and distributed all over Ajman, in more than 24 locations, being keen on providing the best service to public transport users, and to increase their comfort.
DRIVING
There are several car rental companies in Ajman. Prices start from 100 AED per day for a small car. If you would like to hire a car, comprehensive insurance is essential and must include personal accident coverage. You will also need a copy of your passport, a valid international driving licence and a credit card.

WALKING
The milder months from October to March are pleasant for exploring Ajman on foot, and Ajman Marina, the Corniche, Al Hamidiyah Park in Al Helio, Rashidiya Ladies' Park and Al Zorah Nature Reserve are all popular spots.
Summer temperatures of over 45°C during June to September are not conducive to walking.
