Ajman, 6th September 2023 – The eagerly anticipated third edition of the Ajman Philatelic & Numismatic Exhibition, organized by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD), is set to open its doors today at the Ajman China Mall, Gate H. Under the esteemed patronage of H.H. Sheikh AbdulAziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, this five-day event promises to be a treasure trove for collectors, dealers, and enthusiasts alike.

Running from 6th to 10th September 2023, the exhibition is poised to draw a diverse crowd, with participants from the GCC region and across the globe converging to showcase their prized collections of coins and stamps. Notably, local and resident dealers will also be in attendance, enriching the event's vibrant tapestry.

Visitors to the Ajman Philatelic & Numismatic Exhibition can expect a captivating display of rare collectibles, coins, and stamps that offer a fascinating glimpse into the rich history of the emirate and the wider region. As part of the exhibition's program, attendees can participate in engaging workshops, enlightening lectures, and even indulge in a special auction of stamps and coins. Furthermore, the exhibition will honor the finest collectibles through a panel of expert jurors, who will select winners from various categories.

A highlight of this year's event is the stamp design contest, where participants are invited to showcase their creativity by designing a stamp that captures the landmarks of Ajman. The deadline for design submissions is 8th September 2023, with the winners set to be unveiled on 10th September 2023, offering valuable prizes to the most outstanding entries.

Mr. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, the Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, expressed his enthusiasm for the exhibition, noting that it offers visitors and enthusiasts a unique opportunity to explore an extensive array of coins and stamps that mirror the illustrious history of Ajman and the United Arab Emirates. He underlined that the exhibition aligns with Ajman Tourism's commitment to preserving the UAE's heritage and national identity while firmly establishing Ajman as a premier destination for key exhibitions and events that draw visitors year-round.
