Ajman Tourism delegation wraps up successful Europe Road show

Ajman, UAE (May 21, 2016) – The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has wrapped up a successful road show in Europe held from May 16 to 20, returning with encouraging feedback from the European tourism and travel market.

 

More than 500 representatives from leading travel and tourism companies attended the UAE Destination presentations held in the cities of Prague in Czech Republic, followed by Warsaw in Poland and concluded in Budapest, Hungary. The road show focused on the UAE as a destination and promoted the emirate of Ajman as a unique destination offering a variety of activities, events, attractions and accommodations to leisure and business travelers.

 

HE Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of Ajman Tourism, highlighted the success of the road show which presented the latest development in the tourism industry including hospitality and infrastructure projects across the UAE which are aimed at increasing the numbers of visitors to the country every year.

 

He said: “We are pleased with the result of our road show in Europe. We met with the leading tour operators in the three cities that we have visited and majority of them expressed tremendous interests in the emirate of Ajman and the UAE in general. We hope that these meetings will result in more tourists visiting the emirate this year and every year.”

 

During their first stop in Prague, the delegation was welcomed by UAE Ambassador to Czech Republic H.E. Mohamed Hamad Al Shamsi who praised Ajman Tourism for spearheading such promotional tours in major capitals and cities in Europe to promote the UAE.

 

Iftikhar Hamdani, General Manager of Ramada Hotel & Suites and Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman said that the East Europe Road show gave them a chance to meet existing partners and it was a great platform to hunt for new ones. “We had find very good enquiries for next winter seasons from new partners in this road show,” he added.

 

Ahmed Kamal, Director of Sales of Ajman Saray noted that the event in Prague, Warsaw and Budapest had an extreme positive vibe. He said: “I am very proud to see how clients perceive Ajman as the unique jewel in the destination. Many industry leaders see Ajman as a unique emirate with pristine beaches and top notch hotels offering exceptional service and memorable experiences. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the team for their hard work which led to a successful outcome. Witnessing the number and quality of invitees make us feel proud to be members and partners of such a successful organization.”
