The Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation and Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) signed an agreement to create a strategic partnership to benefit from their accumulated experience in order to improve the quality of both parties’ institutional work. This agreement will also strengthen the concept of institutional partnership among institutions and governmental and semi-governmental departments.

The agreement, which was signed by Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi, General Manager of Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, and by HE Saleh Al Geziry, ATDD Director General, will boost cooperation and support the implementation of programs of mutual interest, including cooperation with regards to charitable activities and projects and community programs. The two institutions will coordinate on media coverage of joint events that serve the goals and interests of both parties.

On this occasion, Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi said that the Foundation is proud to cooperate with the foremost tourism authority in Ajman, and emphasised that ATDD is the main supporter of charitable activities in Ajman. She also praised the services that ATDD provides to the local community.

Sheikha Azza said, “Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation is pleased with the prospect of joint cooperation with all sectors of the local community, including governmental and semi-governmental institutions that are keen to ensure the success of the Foundation. This reflects the Foundation’s vision of supporting everything that serves the community economically, socially and in terms of tourism, and emphasises the boosting of integration in local efforts at all levels.”

HE Saleh Al Geziry, ATDD Director General, said, “This agreement, which is signed by ATDD and the Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, aims to enhance cooperation between both parties in several areas, serving the strategic objectives of both parties and supporting community service programs in line with our responsibility to the community in which we operate.”

Al Geziry pointed out that both parties should work to maximise the benefits of the agreement in order to achieve the highest levels of cooperation and to optimise results in terms of community work. He added, “Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation is a leading, pioneering organisation in its initiatives to support the community.”

After signing the agreement, HE Saleh Al Geziry presented the amount that was collected as a result of a charity auction of dates and other fruits during the 2018 Liwa Ajman Dates to Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi Festival; the money will be used to support community and charitable initiatives throughout the year.
